- Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back.
- The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
- If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.
- So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
- Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
