- Who will repay each person according to his deeds.
- But because of sexual immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband.
- Lord, all my desire is before You;
And my sighing is not hidden from You. - Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Your speech must always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
- So then, be careful how you walk, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil.
- Now behold, today I am going the way of all the earth, and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the Lord your God spoke concerning you has failed; they all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed.
- No one is to seek his own advantage, but rather that of his neighbor.
- For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to rein in the whole body as well.
- Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! - For bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.
- Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.
- You are altogether beautiful, my darling,
And there is no blemish on you. - Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
- I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have nothing good besides You.” - For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
- This wretched man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles. - The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
And He delights in his way. - For whoever has been born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
- Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.
- So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent.
- If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow the Spirit as well.
- Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day.
- Stop striving and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth. - Beloved, let’s love one another; for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
