- Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men! - He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Where there is no water. - So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it;
For He has no pleasure in fools.
Pay what you have vowed. - Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
- But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.
- Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
- It is honorable for a man to stop striving,
Since any fool can start a quarrel. - You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
- Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
- We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other.
- If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
- The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
