And who is a rock besides our God? - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - For a thousand years in your sight
are like yesterday when it is past,
or like a watch in the night. - Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
- When I am afraid,
I put my trust in you. - Also that the women should dress themselves modestly and decently in suitable clothing, not with their hair braided, or with gold, pearls, or expensive clothes, but with good works, as is proper for women who profess reverence for God.
- The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil; for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks.
- Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who maintains covenant loyalty with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
- Riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might; and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all.
- Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace. This grace was given to us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.

- And he said, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
- If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to put confidence in mortals. - I will put my spirit within you, and make you follow my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances.
- No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
- For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.
- Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
- But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
- Little children, you are from God, and have conquered them; for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
- How very good and pleasant it is
when kindred live together in unity!
If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you.You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.Next verse!With image
