- Welcome those who are weak in faith, but not for the purpose of quarreling over opinions.

- And he did the same with the cup after supper, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.”
- In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets.
- Grandchildren are the crown of the aged,
and the glory of children is their parents. - For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever. - He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything.
- And this is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
