Let them return to the Lord so that he may have mercy upon them; and to our God, for he is rich in forgiveness.
He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.He is himself the sacrifice for our sins— and not only for our sins but also for the sins of the whole world.
I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. SelahThen I acknowledged my sin to you, and I made no attempt to conceal my guilt. I said, “I will confess my offenses to the Lord,” and you removed the guilt of my sin. Selah
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
And rend your hearts and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.Rend your hearts and not your garments, and turn back to the Lord, your God. For he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, rich in kindness, and always prepared to relent from punishing.

Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.Repent, therefore, and be converted so that your sins may be wiped away.
