- The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
- My son, keep thy father's commandment,
and forsake not the law of thy mother. - The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.
- And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
- The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
- Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.
- Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not;
neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity:
for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off. - For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. - Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend;
but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty. - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
- Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord.
- He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction:
but he that refuseth reproof erreth. - God setteth the solitary in families:
he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.
