- Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.
- I take joy in doing your will, my God,
for your instructions are written on my heart. - So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other.
- Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.
- For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
- All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.
- I thirst for God, the living God.
When can I go and stand before him? - All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
- And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.
- You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.
- Let my teaching fall on you like rain;
let my speech settle like dew.
Let my words fall like rain on tender grass,
like gentle showers on young plants. - But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- One Sabbath day as Jesus was teaching in a synagogue, he saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit. She had been bent double for eighteen years and was unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, “Dear woman, you are healed of your sickness!” Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God! But the leader in charge of the synagogue was indignant that Jesus had healed her on the Sabbath day. “There are six days of the week for working,” he said to the crowd. “Come on those days to be healed, not on the Sabbath.” But the Lord replied, “You hypocrites! Each of you works on the Sabbath day! Don’t you untie your ox or your donkey from its stall on the Sabbath and lead it out for water? This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?” This shamed his enemies, but all the people rejoiced at the wonderful things he did.
- Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- For who is God except the Lord?
Who but our God is a solid rock? - For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- For who is God except the Lord?
Who but our God is a solid rock? - Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
- As soon as they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other tongues and prophesied.
- What are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized. Have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord.
- But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.
- And how much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Yes, the law permits a person to do good on the Sabbath.
- Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.
- So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth.“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.
“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.Next verse! With image
