Bible Verses about 'Fully rely on God'

  • But the Lord watches over those who fear him,
those who rely on his unfailing love.
  • In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable.
  • If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world.
  • When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong.
  • My victory and honor come from God alone.
He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.
  • Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.
  • So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world.
  • And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
  • Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.
  • We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
  • Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.
  • Glory to God in highest heaven,
and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.
  • Teach me your ways, O Lord,
that I may live according to your truth!
    Grant me purity of heart,
so that I may honor you.
  • Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
  • Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward.
  • On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting.
  • Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment.
  • “As I began to speak,” Peter continued, “the Holy Spirit fell on them, just as he fell on us at the beginning.”
  • The Lord is close to all who call on him,
yes, to all who call on him in truth.
  • Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me.
  • So after more fasting and prayer, the men laid their hands on them and sent them on their way.
  • For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.
  • I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
  • I take joy in doing your will, my God,
for your instructions are written on my heart.
  • Can he walk on hot coals
    and not blister his feet?

So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other.
