Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Generous'
- A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. - The wicked borrow and do not repay,
but the righteous give generously. - Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
who conduct their affairs with justice. - You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
- Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
- If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
- Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
- Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
- But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.
- For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.
- And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
- Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
A fool spurns a parent’s discipline,
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence. Whoever is patient has great understanding,
but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.Next verse!With image
