- Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness
will find life and honor. - Wealth is a ransom for a person's life,
but the poor get no threats. - By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life. - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
- I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
- Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
- And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.”
- This is what I have seen to be good: it is fitting to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of the life God gives us; for this is our lot.
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

- Fight the good fight of the faith; take hold of the eternal life, to which you were called and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
- We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.
- One thing I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
to live in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to inquire in his temple. - But those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.
- I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.
- You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.
- Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For it is on him that God the Father has set his seal.
- The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. - For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
