- For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
Christ Jesus, himself a man. - Jesus addressed them once again, saying,
“I am the light of the world.
The one who follows me
will never walk in darkness.
Rather, he will have the light of life.” - Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
- I am the living bread that came down from heaven.
Whoever eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I will give
is my flesh, for the life of the world. - Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. The measure that you use for others will be used to measure you.
- And every tongue should proclaim
to the glory of God the Father:
Jesus Christ is Lord. - I give them eternal life,
and they will never perish.
No one will ever snatch them from my hand.
My Father who has given them to me
is greater than all,
and no one can snatch them
out of the Father’s hand.
I and the Father are one. - Because in my eyes you are precious,
because you are honored and I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you
and nations in return for your life. - The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord shine his face upon you and be gracious to you.
The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace. - Jesus then said to her,
“I am the resurrection and the life.
Whoever believes in me,
even though he dies, will live,
and everyone who lives
and believes in me
will never die.
Do you believe this?” - For I resolved that, while I was with you, I would know nothing except Jesus Christ—and him crucified.
- And my God will fully supply all your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
- From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.”
- I will give thanks to you among the peoples, O Lord;
I will sing your praises among the nations. - And eternal life is this:
to know you,
the only true God,
and the one you have sent,
Jesus Christ. - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For men this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”
- Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can see the kingdom of God
without being born from above.” - Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires.
- When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
- Give proper consideration to those widows who are truly in need.
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. Therefore, encourage one another and strengthen one another, as indeed you are doing.Next verse! With image
