Give (2/4)

  • That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.
  • For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?
  • ‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’
  • I will give thanks to You, Lord, among the peoples,
    And I will sing praises to You among the nations.
  • Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.
  • I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats from this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I will give for the life of the world also is My flesh.
  • Jesus said to him, “If you want to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
  • Since you are precious in My sight,
    Since you are honored and I love you,
    I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life.
  • The Lord bless you, and keep you;
    The Lord cause His face to shine on you,
    And be gracious to you;
    The Lord lift up His face to you,
    And give you peace.
  • Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!
  • Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
  • She will give birth to a Son; and you shall name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
  • Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal.
  • I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
  • I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.
  • You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.
  • Now the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and stay there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the Law and the commandments which I have written for their instruction.”
  • And on that day you will say,
    “Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name.
    Make known His deeds among the peoples;
    Make them remember that His name is exalted.”
  • But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
  • Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.
  • And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
  • But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect.
  • For it is written:
    “As I live, says the Lord, to Me every knee will bow,
    And every tongue will give praise to God.”
  • I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
    When I learn Your righteous judgments.
  • If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, then I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit.

Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.
