And he would answer and say to them, “The one who has two tunics is to share with the one who has none; and the one who has food is to do likewise.”John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”
For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up!If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed.The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
A person’s gift makes room for him And brings him before great people.A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.

One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
A person has joy in an apt answer, And how delightful is a timely word!A person finds joy in giving an apt reply— and how good is a timely word!

Now the crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David; Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest!”The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
