Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.
Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord.
Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.
