Chinese (traditional)- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
- For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - My doctrine shall drop as the rain,
my speech shall distil as the dew,
as the small rain upon the tender herb,
and as the showers upon the grass. - And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors. - There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - For with God nothing shall be impossible.
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering.
- Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
- And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
- See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
- Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
- In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. - If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
- And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
- As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
- This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
