Chinese (traditional)- He replied, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.”
- There is no Holy One like the Lord,
no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God. - And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and behold
the face of God? - While God has overlooked the times of human ignorance, now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”
- Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.
- For God alone my soul waits in silence,
for my hope is from him. - And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
- Little children, you are from God, and have conquered them; for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
- For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- Therefore you are great, O Lord God; for there is no one like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- For you, O God, have tested us;
you have tried us as silver is tried. - Yet I have been the Lord your God
ever since the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for me?
- While he was going and they were gazing up toward heaven, suddenly two men in white robes stood by them. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
- The Rock, his work is perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God, without deceit,
just and upright is he. - “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
- Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you, and you with me.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- O God, you are my God, I seek you,
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. - What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.
For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died. I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.Next verse!With image
