- As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.
- A little that a righteous man hath
is better than the riches of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken:
but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. - Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
- No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved).
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.
- There is none holy as the Lord:

neither is there any rock like our God. - Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
- Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
- That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.
- My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
- For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
- And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
- No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

for my expectation is from him.
