Bible Verses about 'God is Here'
- I was sought by those who did not ask for Me;
I was found by those who did not seek Me.
I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’
To a nation that was not called by My name. - But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.”
- Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” - But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
- He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’
- He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage.
- But our God is in heaven;
He does whatever He pleases. - Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who uphold my life. - God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. - Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one.
- So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
- In God is my salvation and my glory;
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, is in God. - God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
- Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. - And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
- What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.
- If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. - Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
- My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. - God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
- For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.
- The Lord God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills. - Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
- For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
- For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all. - And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
- God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
- Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.
- For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
- No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
- Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
- For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.
- For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ - The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound. - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
- And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
- But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
