- I was eager to respond
to those who did not consult me.
I was anxious to be approached
by those who did not seek me.
I said, “Here I am! Here I am!”
to a nation that did not summon me. - He said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised. He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
- I then heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
- But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid! I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised, as he promised he would be. Come and see the place where he lay.”

does not know God,
because God is love. - Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever he pleases. - Surely God is my helper;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - To do your will, O God, is my delight;
your law is in my heart. - He answered, “Because you have such little faith. Amen, I say to you, if you have faith as tiny as a mustard seed, you will be able to say to this mountain: ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
- God is our refuge and our strength,
a well-proved help in times of trouble. - God is Spirit,
and those who worship him
must worship in Spirit and truth. - Now an intermediary is not necessary when there is only one party, and God is one.
- My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a contrite and humble heart, O God,
you will not spurn. - We have come to know
and to believe in
the love that God has for us.
God is love,
and whoever abides in love
abides in God,
and God in him. - What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. - Even should my heart and my flesh fail,
God is the rock of my heart

- The way of God is blameless;
the Lord’s promise has proved true.

he is a shield to all
who flee to him for safety. - While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
