and preserveth the way of his saints. - The wicked worketh a deceitful work:
but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. - According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.
- The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable:
but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness. - The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice:
and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. - The hope of the righteous shall be gladness:
but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. - Cast thy burden upon the Lord,
and he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer
the righteous to be moved. - The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:
the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:
the Lord loveth the righteous. - Envy thou not the oppressor,
and choose none of his ways.
For the froward is abomination to the Lord:
but his secret is with the righteous. - But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Stand ye in the ways, and see,
and ask for the old paths,
where is the good way, and walk therein,
and ye shall find rest for your souls.
But they said, We will not walk therein. - Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.Next verse!With image
