Good faith (4/4)

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive it all.If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.”Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.”
As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people.Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life.To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor, Obtain justice for the orphan, Plead for the widow’s case.Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction.But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile.
Who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, eager for good deeds.Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
The Lord is good and upright; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way.Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.
But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who are abusive to you.But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
One who gets wisdom loves his own soul; One who keeps understanding will find good.The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.
And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
He has told you, mortal one, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love.I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.
I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one’s lifetime; moreover, that every person who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor—this is the gift of God.I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.
So if you, despite being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; All those who follow His commandments have a good understanding; His praise endures forever.The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.
