But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who are abusive to you. | But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. |

Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary. | Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. |
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy. | But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. |
