- I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. - For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in Yahweh’s house forever. - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
- Oh how great is your goodness,
which you have laid up for those who fear you,
which you have worked for those who take refuge in you,
before the sons of men! - Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness,
for they are from old times.
Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions.
Remember me according to your loving kindness,
for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh. - Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge; and in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control, perseverance; and in perseverance, godliness; and in godliness, brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love.
- For he satisfies the longing soul.
He fills the hungry soul with good. - He loves righteousness and justice.
The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh. - And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
- So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
- My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
- Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
- Yahweh is righteous in all his ways,
and gracious in all his works. - Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
- “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.
- And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.
- Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.
- Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
- Trust in Yahweh, and do good.
Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. - That which makes a man to be desired is his kindness.
A poor man is better than a liar. - Therefore be merciful,
even as your Father is also merciful. - Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good?
- Depart from evil, and do good.
Seek peace, and pursue it.
Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.May Yahweh our God be with us as he was with our fathers. Let him not leave us or forsake us. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age.Next verse! With image
