Guide your heart (2/4)

  • A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
  • Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
  • Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
    and lean not unto thine own understanding.
    In all thy ways acknowledge him,
    and he shall direct thy paths.
  • And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
  • Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
  • Set me as a seal upon thine heart,
    as a seal upon thine arm:
    for love is strong as death;
    jealousy is cruel as the grave:
    the coals thereof are coals of fire,
    which hath a most vehement flame.
  • A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth:
    he will guide his affairs with discretion.
  • Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
    bind them about thy neck;
    write them upon the table of thine heart:
    So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
    in the sight of God and man.
  • The integrity of the upright shall guide them:
    but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
  • Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
  • Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
  • My flesh and my heart faileth:
    but God is the strength of my heart,
    and my portion for ever.
  • And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
  • But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
  • For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
  • Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
    for thou art the God of my salvation;
    on thee do I wait all the day.
  • I delight to do thy will, O my God:
    yea, thy law is within my heart.
  • Good and upright is the Lord:
    therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
    The meek will he guide in judgment:
    and the meek will he teach his way.
  • A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
  • And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
  • Order my steps in thy word:
    and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
  • Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
    that I might not sin against thee.
  • Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
  • Blessed are the pure in heart:
    for they shall see God.
  • Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
    and not to covetousness.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.Next verse!With image
