- But be sure to fear the Lord and faithfully serve him. Think of all the wonderful things he has done for you.
- A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.
- Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good.
- But be very careful to obey all the commands and the instructions that Moses gave to you. Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.

- May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.

He is eager to relent and not punish. - So go ahead. Eat your food with joy, and drink your wine with a happy heart, for God approves of this!
- Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in you. - I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
- And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.
- Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a loyal spirit within me.
