| For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. | He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. |

| Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. | But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers. | But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. |
| The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. | For just as the body is one and yet has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. |
