Chinese (traditional)- Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - The wise in heart will receive commandments:
but a prating fool shall fall. - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
- The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the Lord search the heart,
I try the reins,
even to give every man according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings. - Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
and before honour is humility. - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
- Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
- Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. - The statutes of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - Though an host should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me,
in this will I be confident. - Grant thee according to thine own heart,
and fulfil all thy counsel. - Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:
but the Lord pondereth the hearts. - Therefore also now, saith the Lord,
turn ye even to me with all your heart,
and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning. - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
- But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
- Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
- Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
- My son, attend to my words;
incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart. - So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. - Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee. - Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.Next verse!With image
