Bible Verses about 'Heart'
- My son, if thine heart be wise,
my heart shall rejoice, even mine. - My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever. - A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
- Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
- Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. - Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. - And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. - Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart. - Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. - Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - The wise in heart will receive commandments:
but a prating fool shall fall. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
and before honour is humility. - The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the Lord search the heart,
I try the reins,
even to give every man according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings. - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.

- Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. - Though an host should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me,
in this will I be confident. - Therefore also now, saith the Lord,
turn ye even to me with all your heart,
and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning. - Grant thee according to thine own heart,
and fulfil all thy counsel. - Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

but the Lord directeth his steps. - But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
- Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
- Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.
- And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
- My son, attend to my words;
incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart. - So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
