- My son, if thine heart be wise,
my heart shall rejoice, even mine. - A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
- My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever. - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
- Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. - I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. - Grant thee according to thine own heart,
and fulfil all thy counsel. - Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - The wise in heart will receive commandments:
but a prating fool shall fall. - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. - Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
- Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart. - Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
and before honour is humility.
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart.The rich man's wealth is his strong city,
and as an high wall in his own conceit. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.Next verse!With image
