Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Hid'
- You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
- All my longings lie open before you, Lord;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you. - There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
- You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. - You are my refuge and my shield;
I have put my hope in your word. - He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him. - After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
- “Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord.
“Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. - He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. - Whoever conceals hatred with lying lips
and spreads slander is a fool. - The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. - Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land,
you who do what he commands.
Seek righteousness, seek humility;
perhaps you will be sheltered
on the day of the Lord’s anger. - Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.”
And you forgave the guilt of my sin. - No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.
- Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
- Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
- A gossip betrays a confidence,
but a trustworthy person keeps a secret. - So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
- But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
- Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory.
