Him (3/4)

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.Whoever feeds upon my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I dwell in him.
The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.The Lord is good, an unfailing refuge in a time of distress. He takes care of those who place their trust in him.
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. For it is in him that the entire fullness of deity dwells in bodily form, and you share this fullness in him who is the head of every ruler and power.
And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.All those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And the proof that he abides in us is the Spirit that he has given us.
We love him, because he first loved us.Therefore, we love because he first loved us.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, it will be enough for us.”
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.No, throughout all these things we are conquerors because of him who loved us.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above all other names, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.If your brother should sin, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. Even if he wrongs you seven times a day, and comes back to you seven times to say, ‘I am sorry,’ you must forgive him.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.If someone among you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. Then Peter addressed them: “I now understand how true it is that God has no favorites, but that in every nation all those who fear God and do what is right are acceptable to him.”
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we can approach God with confidence and receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do whatever is pleasing to him.
But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid. But when the disciples saw him walking on the water they thought it was a ghost and they cried out, for they all had seen him and were terrified. But immediately he spoke to them, saying, “Have courage! It is I! Do not be afraid!”
For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake. For it has been granted you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.And if one should fall, his companion will help him up. How pathetic is the man who is alone and falls and has no one to assist him to his feet.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. After he said this, he was lifted up as they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight.
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.Jesus said to him, “Go on your way! Your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed him along the road.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.Wait quietly for the Lord and be patient until he comes. Do not fret over the man who prospers because of his evil schemes.
And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.
And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.The way of God is blameless, and the Lord’s promise proves true; he is a shield to all who flee to him for safety.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.He was despised and shunned by others, a man of sorrows who was no stranger to suffering. We loathed him and regarded him as of no account, as one from whom men avert their gaze.
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.For: “If anyone wishes to love life and to experience good days, he must restrain his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. He must turn away from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it.”
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.The way of God is blameless; the Lord’s promise has proved true. He is a shield to all who take refuge in him.

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death. All I want is to come to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and to share in his sufferings by becoming conformed to his death.
