- Sing to God, sing praises to His name;
Exalt Him who rides through the deserts,
Whose name is the Lord, and be jubilant before Him.
A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows,
Is God in His holy dwelling. - And above His head they put up the charge against Him which read, “THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
- This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
- The afflictions of the righteous are many,
But the Lord rescues him from them all. - Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
- Only be very careful to follow the commandment and the Law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways, and keep His commandments and cling to Him, and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”
- For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate, and will not turn His face away from you if you return to Him.
- Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
- A person’s pride will bring him low,
But a humble spirit will obtain honor. - Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
- The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice,
And he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
- God raised up His Servant for you first, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.
- And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
- The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.
- And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.
- By this the love of God was revealed in us, that God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him.
- Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
- It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And the light dwells with Him. - But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.
- No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.
- For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up!
- Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and they will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and flog and crucify, and on the third day He will be raised up.
- Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him;
Do not get upset because of one who is successful in his way,
Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes.
