- You shall follow the Lord your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.
- If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.
- Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.”
- Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
- I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was exalted with my tongue. - And they stripped Him and put a red cloak on Him. And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and put a reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- A person’s gift makes room for him
And brings him before great people. - And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
- What is man that You think of him,
And a son of man that You are concerned about him? - Seek the Lord while He may be found;
Call upon Him while He is near. - All the prophets testify of Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.
- This wretched man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles. - This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
- He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
- My soul waits in silence for God alone;
From Him comes my salvation. - Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
- My soul, wait in silence for God alone,
For my hope is from Him. - He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
- But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.
- Now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not draw back from Him in shame at His coming.
- God blesses us,
So that all the ends of the earth may fear Him. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him. - Having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you.
- “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I wait for Him.” - For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.”
