- Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

without scorching his feet? - For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more certain it is that, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry.
