- The instructions of the Lord are perfect,
reviving the soul.
The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple. - May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.
- What are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized. Have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord.
- The commandments of the Lord are right,
bringing joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are clear,
giving insight for living. - Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom.
All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom.
Praise him forever! - And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God
than live the good life in the homes of the wicked. - Do not add to or subtract from these commands I am giving you. Just obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you.

with those who fear him.
His salvation extends to the children’s children
of those who are faithful to his covenant,
of those who obey his commandments! - Go back to Hezekiah, the leader of my people. Tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you, and three days from now you will get out of bed and go to the Temple of the Lord.’
- The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
that the blind will see,
that the oppressed will be set free.
