the news that the God of Israel reigns! - For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.
- So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.
- You have tested us, O God;
you have purified us like silver. - For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.
