and in his word I hope. - Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.

- Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. - When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
- For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
for my hope is from him. - And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.”
- Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name! - For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
- Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
