| A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. | A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. |
| But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. | But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. |

| As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. | Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. |

| He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. | Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. |
| The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. | May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. |
| Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. | Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. |

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. |
| No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. | No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. |
| Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. | Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. |
