He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. | The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. |

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. | But Jesus said to him, “ ‘If You can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.” |
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. | Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not to have quarrels over opinions. |
And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. | And if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, he is to be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. |
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. | But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it. |
Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. | Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. |
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. | For if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. |
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. | If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow the Spirit as well. |
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. | But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. |
It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him. | The statement is trustworthy: For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him. |
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? | What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? |
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. | For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. |
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. | Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it. |
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. | And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God must also love his brother and sister. |
And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great. | And He said to them, “Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great.” |
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. | If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people. |
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. | But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses. |
He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth. | One who is on the path of life follows instruction, But one who ignores a rebuke goes astray. |
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? | Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” |
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. | By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another. |
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. | No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us. |
He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. | One who walks in integrity walks securely, But one who perverts his ways will be found out. |
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. | Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary. |
For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever. | For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly practice justice between a person and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the orphan, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor follow other gods to your own ruin, then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever. |
