| I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was exalted with my tongue. | I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue. |
| So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made to God intensely by the church. | Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. |

| Having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you. | Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. |
| For this reason also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth. | Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. |
| Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.” | And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. |
| Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.” | Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. |
| Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. | Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. |
| Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. | Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. |
| For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin. | For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. |
| It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him. | He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. |
| If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. | If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. |
| And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him. | But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. |
