For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake.
God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a sabbath to the Lord.Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places.
Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.

Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?

On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”
But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret.
