And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. | And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. |
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. | Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. |
Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. | Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. |
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger. | Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. |
