Let us remain firm in the confession of our hope without wavering, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful.
Let those who are wise understand these words, and let the prudent acknowledge them. For straight are the ways of the Lord; the upright walk in them, but sinners stumble. Those who are wise understand these things; those who are discerning know them. For the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.
Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
And let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it was for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.
Everything that you do should be done in love.Let all that you do be done in love.
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord; O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cries of supplication.Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications!
Let us then make every effort to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall by following that example of refusing to believe.Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall through such disobedience as theirs.
On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.”On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.”
And God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the wild animals and reptiles that crawl upon the earth.”Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”
Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time.So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.
Let no foul word ever pass your lips. Say only what is useful for edification, so that your words may benefit your listeners.Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, as there is need, so that your words may give grace to those who hear.
Let marriage be held in honor by all, and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for those who are immoral and adulterers will have to face God’s judgment.Let marriage be held in honor by all, and let the marriage bed be kept undefiled; for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.
My son, concentrate attentively on my words; pay heed to the instructions I pass on to you. Do not let them slip from your mind; keep them forever in your heart. My child, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.
Restore us, O Lord of hosts; let your face shine upon us, and we will be saved.Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; let your face shine, that we may be saved.
Let no one regard you with contempt because of your youth, but serve as an example to the believers in your speech and conduct, in your love, your faith, and your purity.Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace when we are in need of help.Let us therefore approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise.Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise.
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that weighs us down and the sins that so easily distract us and with perseverance run the race that lies ahead of us.Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us.
Let my teaching fall down like rain, and my words descend like the dew. Like rain upon the sprouts, and like showers upon the grass.May my teaching drop like the rain, my speech condense like the dew; like gentle rain on grass, like showers on new growth.
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
For: “If anyone wishes to love life and to experience good days, he must restrain his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. He must turn away from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it.”For “Those who desire life and desire to see good days, let them keep their tongues from evil and their lips from speaking deceit; let them turn away from evil and do good; let them seek peace and pursue it.”
If anyone would boast, let him boast in the Lord. For it is not the one who commends himself who is really approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not those who commend themselves that are approved, but those whom the Lord commends.

Therefore, while we have the opportunity, let us labor for the good of all, but especially for those members of the household of the faith. So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.
