Bible Verses about 'Listen'
- If the member refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if the offender refuses to listen even to the church, let such a one be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
- Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you.
- Hear, my child, and accept my words,
that the years of your life may be many. - You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.

- If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.
- When one will not listen to the law,
even one's prayers are an abomination. - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my supplications in your faithfulness;
answer me in your righteousness. - If you will not listen, if you will not lay it to heart to give glory to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse on you and I will curse your blessings; indeed I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.
- But I say to you that listen, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
- Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you, and you with me.
- Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, Return from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.” But they did not hear or heed me, says the Lord.
- But be doers of the word, and not merely hearers who deceive themselves.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
and give ear to my cry;
do not hold your peace at my tears.

an alien, like all my forebears. - Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

incline your ear to my sayings.

keep them within your heart. - I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my supplications.

but transgressors stumble in them. - See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death; then they will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified; and on the third day he will be raised.
