- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God;
When shall I come and appear before God? - I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’

- I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be eliminated by the waters of a flood, nor shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth.
- Act as free people, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bond-servants of God.

A prayer to the God of my life. - Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
- I know how to get along with little, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.
- What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

When I learn Your righteous judgments. - Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?
- These you may eat of everything that is in the water: anything that has fins and scales you may eat, but anything that does not have fins and scales, you shall not eat; it is unclean for you.
- But let justice roll out like waters,
And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. - Riches do not benefit on the day of wrath,
But righteousness rescues from death. - Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
- If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow the Spirit as well.
- You will make known to me the way of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever. - If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
- The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. - So he was there with the Lord for forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread or drink water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
- Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.
- Keep the Sabbath day to treat it as holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. For six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; you shall not do any work that day, you or your son or your daughter, or your male slave or your female slave, or your ox, your donkey, or any of your cattle, or your resident who stays with you, so that your male slave and your female slave may rest as well as you.
- But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
- For the moment, all discipline seems not to be pleasant, but painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.
- Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
