- O Lord, You are my God.
I will exalt You,
I will praise Your name,
For You have done wonderful things;
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. - For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. - For You are my rock and my fortress;
Therefore, for Your name’s sake,
Lead me and guide me. - Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
- Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy;
For You render to each one according to his work. - Yes, in the way of Your judgments,
O Lord, we have waited for You;
The desire of our soul is for Your name
And for the remembrance of You. - You shall not make anything to be with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.
- And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
- O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water. - Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.
- Do not say,
“Why were the former days better than these?”
For you do not inquire wisely concerning this. - Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - Nevertheless in Your great mercy
You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them;
For You are God, gracious and merciful. - Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
- Since you were precious in My sight,
You have been honored,
And I have loved you;
Therefore I will give men for you,
And people for your life. - I love the Lord, because He has heard
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. - Let my mouth be filled with Your praise
And with Your glory all the day. - For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
- For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
- Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
- But I will sing of Your power;
Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
For You have been my defense
And refuge in the day of my trouble. - For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
- For You will light my lamp;
The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other.
- There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
