- Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!
O Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleas for mercy! - I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing praises to you among the nations. - Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
- A friend loves at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved,
for you are my praise. - You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am.
- I have set the Lord always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. - Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. - Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.
- Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand.
- O Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you; I will praise your name,
for you have done wonderful things,
plans formed of old, faithful and sure. - Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
- But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.
- The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. - Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
- Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
- There is none holy like the Lord:
for there is none besides you;
there is no rock like our God. - Give us this day our daily bread.
- It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
- For I, the Lord your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Fear not,
I am the one who helps you.” - So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
- O Lord, all my longing is before you;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
- You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
