- I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
- But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
- The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
- But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
- I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
- Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
- But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
- The fear of the Lord is to hate evil:
pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way,
and the froward mouth, do I hate. - Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
- The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
- Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name.
And therefore will the Lord wait,
that he may be gracious unto you,
and therefore will he be exalted,
that he may have mercy upon you:
for the Lord is a God of judgment:
blessed are all they that wait for him.Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.Next verse!With image
