- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their prayer.
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
- The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
he brings low and he exalts. - So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- Return, faithless Israel,
declares the Lord.
I will not look on you in anger,
for I am merciful,
declares the Lord;
I will not be angry forever. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and kind in all his works. - Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”
- Salvation belongs to the Lord;
your blessing be on your people! Selah - Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established. - For whoever finds me finds life
and obtains favor from the Lord. - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
- But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
- When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near. - “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
- Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually! - The heart of man plans his way,
but the Lord establishes his steps. - The blessing of the Lord makes rich,
and he adds no sorrow with it. - O Lord, all my longing is before you;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand.
- Blessed be the Lord,
who daily bears us up;
God is our salvation. Selah - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- For it is you who light my lamp;
the Lord my God lightens my darkness.
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.Next verse!With image
