- Sing to the Lord,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth. - Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
- Let all that you do be done with love.
- For the word of the Lord is right,
And all His work is done in truth. - Who has performed and done it,
Calling the generations from the beginning?
‘I, the Lord, am the first;
And with the last I am He.’ - This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it. - If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
- His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
- For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
- We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.
- In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. - So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.”
- O Lord, You are my God.
I will exalt You,
I will praise Your name,
For You have done wonderful things;
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. - Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
- If a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he does not know it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.
- Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
- Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “None of My words will be postponed any more, but the word which I speak will be done,” says the Lord God.’
- But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
- Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
- For so the Lord has commanded us:
‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles,
That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’ - Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! - Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
- The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound. - He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
- The Lord is slow to anger and great in power,
And will not at all acquit the wicked.
The Lord has His way
In the whirlwind and in the storm,
And the clouds are the dust of His feet. - And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.
- Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
And naked shall I return there.
The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the Lord.” - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
- Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. - Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
- So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
- He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. - Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
- But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
- For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.
- Oh, give thanks to the Lord!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples! - He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
- For the Lord is our Judge,
The Lord is our Lawgiver,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us. - Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy;
For You render to each one according to his work. - And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
- No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
- I love the Lord, because He has heard
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. - Save now, I pray, O Lord;
O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
We have blessed you from the house of the Lord. - O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.” - Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him. - You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.
- The Lord opens the eyes of the blind;
The Lord raises those who are bowed down;
The Lord loves the righteous.
