- You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

And in His word I do hope. - For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - The Lord is on my side;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me? - Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore! - For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel:
“Seek Me and live.” - The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
He brings low and lifts up.
